THE PROBLEM

Today a night is judged by opinion.

Here is what happens: the manager says it was a good night, the DJ says the floor was packed, but the register says something else. As the owner you don't know how people felt, when they started to leave, or whether this Friday beat the last one because of something you did or by luck. A nightlife operation runs on perception. We make it measurable.

02 SELL
Money Totem

The kiosk that sells while your bar pours.

Money Totem takes the order and charges at the same point. The bartender stops taking orders and focuses on serving.

You need fewer people charging at the bar, and tips that come in through the kiosk are split in the same payout as bar tips, so the team doesn't lose out.

Comps travel in a personal Wallet pass and every one is logged.

Pulso by People Int

LIVE FLOOR READING

We read the night to know when to step in.

Pulso reads occupancy and body language in every zone, minute by minute.

With that we spot the windows where it pays to activate something so people have a better time, stay longer and spend more.

Every night is compared against comparable nights, not against gut feeling.

WHAT WE FOUND AT PANEM

5 %

of tabs bring in half the money.

73 %

of the money is charged from 02:00 on.

1 = 17

1 lounge table = 17 bar tabs.

02:15

the room starts to empty while people still have their arms in the air.

WHAT CAN BE MOVED

SCENARIOS CALCULATED WITH REAL DATA, NOT RESULTS ACHIEVED
Keeping a single lounge table per night is worth about 2 % of the night's sales.
Prompting a second purchase in 1 of every 10 bar tabs raises total sales by about 2.6 %.
On Fridays, half the tables close out before 03:00. That is the window.

And everything that sells has to reach the register.

04 RECONCILE

BAR RECONCILIATION

What leaves the bar against what reaches the register.

Log, Thursday

  • 23:23Payment on a two pearl terminal. The register shows no charge before 23:41.
  • 01:10Possible double charge.
  • 01:49The bartender takes a shot with a customer.
  • 03:45$33,385 of consumption shows up on the order ticket and is never charged. By 04:11 it was gone.

NIGHT — 16 register charges with no delivery to explain them.

If that $33,385 had been charged, the night would have closed at about $82,100 instead of $48,725. That is 68 % more in a single night. They may be internal movements. We give you a reading report, and you make the decision or adjust the tickets.

PIXELATED FACES. WE READ THE DELIVERY, NOT THE PERSON. WE TRAIN THE MODELS TO FIT EACH VENUE. WE ONLY NEED ON SITE DVR CAMERAS.

AN UNDETECTED PAYMENT DOES NOT MEAN THEFT. IT MEANS NOBODY CAN PROVE IT WAS CHARGED. THAT IS WHAT RECONCILIATION SOLVES.

SOURCE: BAR RECONCILIATION, ONE THURSDAY OF OPERATION. BAR VIDEO, ORDER TICKETS AND TWO POS READERS THAT MATCH TO THE PESO.

METHODOLOGY

How we do it.

01

We process the video.

We use the cameras the venue already has. We install nothing the customer can see.

02

Machine learning speeds it up.

The models detect deliveries, payments and movement across the whole night. What would take days of review takes hours.

03

A human auditor validates it.

A person checks every finding against the footage and the point of sale before it is reported. If it can't be proven, it isn't reported.

The machine finds. The person confirms.
